Product and Materials Policy

At UMA FURNITURE DESIGN, we focus on creating unique and authentic products using natural materials. Due to the organic nature of these materials, they may exhibit slight irregularities in shape, color, or finish, and these imperfections are considered part of the unique characteristics of our products. Natural woods may present cracks, fissures, and loss of natural oils, which are not considered defects. These oils may cause stains on products that come into contact with the wood. UMA FURNITURE DESIGN is not responsible for any damage caused by these oils.

Our handmade products are true works of art, each with its own personality and unique characteristics. Size, shape, and color may slightly vary from one piece to another, making each product truly one of a kind.

Care and Maintenance

To ensure that your UMA FURNITURE DESIGN products maintain their beauty and quality for years, we recommend taking certain precautions. Our team is available to advise you on how to care for and maintain your products, as well as to answer any questions you may have about changes that may occur over time.

Shipping and Protection

We take the protection of your products during shipping very seriously. We use advanced packaging techniques and high-quality materials to ensure that your products arrive at their destination in perfect condition. However, we recommend considering shipping insurance to protect against any unforeseen events.

Refund and Replacement Policy

At UMA FURNITURE DESIGN, we are committed to creating products of the highest quality. However, due to the organic nature of our materials, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for natural changes or damages that occur during shipping.

Exceptions to the Refund and Replacement Policy

It is important to note that discounted items cannot be returned or exchanged. Additionally, there are no changes or returns for: – Special editions – Seasonal merchandise – Items made to special order

Custom Orders

An initial payment must be made to begin working on custom orders. UMA FURNITURE DESIGN is not responsible for delays in delivery due to late payment receipt. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all customized and made-to-order items meet their requirements and accepts responsibility for all design change requests. We do not offer refunds for customized and made-to-order items due to a change of mind.

Quoted Delivery Time

UMA FURNITURE DESIGN provides an approximate delivery time for receiving your order based on current manufacturing and shipping times at the time of purchase. Circumstances beyond our control may change, which may result in a delay in the delivery of your order within the indicated estimated delivery time (ETA). Deliveries may be delayed due to changes in shipping schedules, carrier delays. Delays do not constitute a breach of contract, and UMA FURNITURE DESIGN does not offer cancellations or refunds due to delays. UMA FURNITURE DESIGN assumes no responsibility for delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for losses incurred due to delays or force majeure of the buyer.
